| Title: | Client for the 'Proxmint' Free Proxy List |
|---|---|
| Description: | Fetches proxies from the 'Proxmint' free proxy list <https://proxmint.com/free-proxies>, where every entry was checked with a real request through it within the last 30 minutes. Filter by protocol, country and anonymity, sort by score, latency, uptime or last check, and get the result as a data frame or as proxy URLs. |

Fetches proxies from the 'Proxmint' free proxy list (https://proxmint.com/free-proxies). Every proxy in the list was checked with a real request made through it within the last 30 minutes, and dead ones are dropped. No API key is needed.

country |
A two-letter ISO 3166-1 country code such as |
anonymity |
|
sort |
Sort order: |
limit |
How many proxies to return. Requests for more than 200 are fetched in pages. |
The public API allows 60 requests a minute per IP address. If the list cannot be
fetched (no connection, rate limited, server error), a message explains why and
NULL is returned invisibly.
A data frame with one row per proxy and the columns ip, port
(integer), protocol, country_code, country_name,
anonymity (NA when unknown), latency_ms (integer),
uptime_pct, score and last_checked (POSIXct, UTC).
It has fewer than limit rows when fewer proxies match. NULL
(invisibly) if the list could not be fetched.
proxies <- free_proxies(protocol = "socks5", limit = 5) if (!is.null(proxies)) proxy_urls(proxies)proxies <- free_proxies(protocol = "socks5", limit = 5) if (!is.null(proxies)) proxy_urls(proxies)
Turns the rows returned by free_proxies into proxy URLs, the
form most HTTP clients take. An "https" proxy is an HTTP proxy that can
also tunnel TLS, so its URL starts with http://; socks4 and
socks5 proxies keep their own scheme.

A character vector with one URL per row, such as "socks5://203.0.113.7:1080".
Empty if proxies is NULL or has no rows.
